The upgrade will vastly improve the stability of the connections as they handle DDoS attacks. Can't seem to connect to mumble, raise the alarm!

i tried myself. and indeed server is down. i cant even connect to the control panel.

EDIT: connected to server. but
[17:05:47] UDP packets cannot be received from the server. Switching to TCP mode.
[17:06:01] UDP packets can be sent to and received from the server. Switching back to UDP mode.

no idea what that is.

One of our major network providers is currently experiencing a major power outage.
We are in the process of getting in touch with them now to obtain additional information.

We will update this news post as we gather any new information on the matter.

Power has been restored.
We expect all servers to be coming back online shortly.

Seemd theyre in Bosna i Hercegovina, sorry folks. Its flooded. Were doing our best to drain water and install new machines found on Ebay.

Event Scope: Install and activate additional routing infrastructure in multiple cities.
Outage Scope: Complete network outage, up to 25 minutes.

On June 17th between the hours of 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC) and 05:00PM EDT (21:00 UTC). LightSpeed, in tandem with our global network providers, will be performing network maintenance to improve the scalability, redundancy, and availability of our network. During the mentioned time frame we expect several periods of sporadic packet-loss and increased latency each lasting a few minutes while routing changes are made. During this maintenance event we will also experience a global outage lasting between 5 and 25 minutes where our website, voice services, and other critical services will be unreachable.

During this maintenance event we will be providing updates in your control panel at https://cp.light-speed.com/ Please note that we do expect that an outage will occur for our control panel and that news updates may not be immediately available. I have updated the Mumble server configuration files. so the server "should" suggest you to have a certain version of mumble when you join the server.
many people still had older version of like 1.2.4.
And depending on the changes of new versions, ill be updating the config more regularly.

As mumble has been patched to new stable version newest stable version is 1.2.8.
i still even see people use 1.2.4.
while this still works, i still recommend to update to 1.2.8

We will be performing rolling restarts throughout the day on March 3rd. The restart will take less than 30 minutes and the time frame will depend on the region where your voice server is hosted. Each region will take about 3 hours to complete. Your servers IP and Port will not be changed during the restarts. Services will automatically return to service after the updates are applied. No action is necessary on your part.

Our upstream network provider will be performing required maintenance. Unfortunately this will disrupt access to your voice server. There will be no changes to your server configuration. The service maintenance window is 5 hours with expected outage to last 20 minutes starting July 1st at 22:00 UTC.
